What is the routine at the Cork academy of hairdressing?
Beginners
courses are of eight months duration, approx, and are made up of
classes lasting four weeks each, with expert tutors to guide you
step by step through all the essential elements of hairdressing.
You start by learning basic skills and progress to creating your
own designs.
Before you
move to a new class you are given a practical examination and if
you have not yet been able to achieve everything demanded, you are
held back until you have the confidence and skills required for
that class. Standards are high and class numbers are small allowing
for close personal attention. Our aim is to turn out the best personal
hairdressers in the country, if not Europe.
Visit our
college and you will experience the close and friendly atmosphere
that has always impressed students, visitors and examiners.
What
will I learn at each class?

You will learn the basics of your craft on a tuition head
CLASS 2: Teaches you the techniques of permanent waving
CLASS 3: You start work on live models
CLASS 4: Teaches you cutting and blow drying
CLASS 5: Deals with the art of colourings
